ARTIST BIO
Holly Reza is a contemporary artist based in the Algarve, Portugal, whose work is driven by emotion, colour, and movement. Her visual language was deeply shaped by years spent within London’s street art culture and the vibrant characters of Hackney, where boldness, individuality, and expressive colour were part of the landscape.
Holly was awarded an unconditional scholarship to Chelsea College of Arts, an affirmation of her artistic path that strengthened her confidence to share her work with a wider audience.
Her practice now unfolds between canvas and leather. In addition to her studio painting, she creates hand-painted leather jackets—wearable, one-of-a-kind artworks made on commission. Visitors are welcome to bring their own jackets to be transformed into personal, expressive pieces.
Holly’s process is intuitive and emotional, driven by the belief that art should be felt before it is understood. She works in layered gestures of colour and movement, allowing each piece to reveal itself over time.
She signs her work as RZ, an abbreviation of her name, Holly Reza.
